(PLO)- This morning (September 18), the Tuoi Tre Start-up Award 2024 competition was officially announced with the theme 'green startup inspiration', aiming for environmental protection solutions. This year's theme prioritizes selecting environmentally friendly startup ideas, models, solutions, and products that create practical values for the community, thereby contributing to the rapid promotion of the circular economy, towards the government's goal of reducing net emissions to zero by 2050. In his opening speech, Mr. Tran Xuan Toan, Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Tuoi Tre Newspaper, said that after only about a month of launching, the organizing committee has received more than 150 projects in many fields. Among these, many projects have had and are having plans related to environmental protection, towards sustainable development. In addition, Tuoi Tre Start-up Award 2024 will also support communication, connection and create conditions for start-ups to approach investors and start-up funds, Mr. Vo Hung Thuat, Head of Product Development Department of Tuoi Tre Newspaper shared. The organizing committee will select outstanding start-up projects and products for the preliminary round, then select promising start-ups to honor at the program's Gala, scheduled to be held in November 2024. The program is organized by Tuoi Tre Newspaper, the Vietnam Youth Union (VYU), in coordination with the Youth Startup Support Center (BSSC) and the Vietnam Packaging Recycling Alliance (PRO Vietnam). Within the framework of the program, there are also many sideline activities such as the "Green Start-up Inspiration" Forum, Golf Tournament, Talkshow and Workshop programs on the topic of building sustainable development brands, etc.
